The second trailer, released on 6 May 2025 alongside Rockstar's Only in Leonida pages. Rockstar's post opens with two words - Vice City, USA - and then the premise: Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them, and when an easy score goes wrong they are drawn into a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida.

Trailer 2 is the one that turned a setting into a story. The premise is Rockstar's oldest - two people against a world that is stacked against them - and the trailer sells it on the two of them rather than on the city.
