How do you find robberies in GTA 6?

Mostly by hearing about them. Rob Nelson told TGG that people ask favours and pay you back with tips, contacts from the story point you at targets, and events in the world lead you to others. Bigger targets can show on the map with a rough estimate of the take, but small stores and gas stations are not marked. Safe codes have to be found or overheard - in the session TGG watched, a fence texted one over.

    At 03:58-04:14: "People may approach you and ask a favor and give you a tip in return. Someone you meet during the story may tip you off. Sometimes you may be led to them by something that happens while you're out and about in the world. And so, you learn about them emergently. You learn about them through people telling you during the course of the game."

    At 03:41-03:57: "these higher tiers of robberies can show up on the map. Not necessarily that they will. I'll get into a quote about that in a second. But if they do show up on your map, you can hover over them and sort of see roughly how much your potential take could be."

    At 04:14-04:24: "We'll tell you the possibility for a bank. We've got smaller payday loan places that you can hit. And these are just the places we point out. The little gas stations and stuff are not even on here."

    At 06:28-06:44: "And you know, the codes for some of those safes that you might find in the back room of some stores, you're going to have to find that yourself. Or, for example, if you overhear, again, a pedestrian on the street or even what I saw from Rob was a fence specifically texted him the code to one of the safes of the stores we were in."
