GTA 6 All Secondary Characters Revealed - Complete Breakdown

Grand Theft Auto VI has six confirmed supporting characters, and Rockstar has published a bio for every one of them: Brian Heder, Cal Hampton, Boobie Ike, Dre’Quan Priest, Real Dimez and Raul Bautista. They split into three worlds - the smuggling Keys where Jason lives, the Vice City music hustle around Boobie’s businesses, and one professional bank robber who belongs to neither. Between them they sketch the “criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida” that Rockstar’s Trailer 2 synopsis promises.

While everyone’s obsessing over Jason and Lucia (and rightfully so), these six are the map of the story. Rockstar wrote each bio with a couple of lines in the character’s own voice, and those lines say more than any theory. I’ve quoted them where it counts.

The Keys Crew: Where Jason Starts

Brian Heder - The Old-School Smuggler

Brian Heder is “a classic drug runner from the golden age of smuggling in the Keys”, in Rockstar’s words. He’s “still moving product through his boat yard with his third wife, Lori”, and he’s “been around long enough to let others do his dirty work.” His own line is the best in the set: “Nothing better than a Mudslide at sunset.”

What the bio pins down:

• Jason’s landlord: Brian is “letting Jason live rent-free at one of his properties - so long as he helps with local shakedowns”
• Lori’s sangria: part of the deal is stopping by for it once in a while, which tells you how domestic this criminal arrangement is
• The shark line: “Looks like a Leonida beach bum - moves like a great white shark”
• The setup: Jason’s opening situation is working for this man. Rockstar says of Jason that “it might be time to try something new”

Brian is the boss you start under. Every GTA has one, and the ones that go badly for the boss tend to go badly early.

Cal Hampton - The Paranoid Friend

Cal Hampton is not a politician, a candidate or anyone’s campaign. He’s “Jason’s friend and a fellow associate of Brian’s”, and Rockstar says he “feels safest hanging at home, snooping on Coast Guard comms with a few beers and some private browser tabs open.” His lines: “What if everything on the internet was true?” and “The psychopaths are in charge. Get used to it.”

What we know from Rockstar:

• Works for Brian: same crew as Jason, different temperament
• Stays home: Rockstar describes him as “at the low tide of America and happy there”
• Listens in: the Coast Guard comms detail is the one to watch. A smuggling crew with a guy monitoring the Coast Guard has a job for him
• Left behind: “Casual paranoia loves company, but his friend Jason has bigger plans”

Cal reads like the friend who’s fine where he is while the lead moves on. Rockstar has not said where he lives, so treat any “Cal’s house in the Keys” claim as a guess.

The Vice City Music Hustle

Boobie Ike - The Local Legend

Boobie Ike is “a local Vice City legend - and acts like it.” Rockstar calls him “one of the few to transform his time in the streets into a legitimate empire spanning real estate, a strip club, and a recording studio”. He’s “all smiles until it’s time to talk business.” Lines: “It’s all about heart - the Jack of Hearts.” and “Top quality cuts.”

What the bio pins down:

• Three businesses named: real estate, a strip club, a recording studio
• The partnership: Rockstar says it’s “his partnership with the young aspiring music mogul Dre’Quan for Only Raw Records that he’s most invested in”
• The problem: “now they just need a hit”
• The read: a man who went legit on paper and kept the muscle

Dre’Quan Priest - The Label Boss

Dre’Quan Priest “was always more of a hustler than a gangster.” Even dealing on the streets “breaking into music was the goal.” Now he’s signed Real Dimez, and Rockstar says “his days of booking acts into Boobie’s strip club might be numbered as he sets his sights on the Vice City scene.” Lines: “Only Raw… Records” and “You’re with the label now.”

The label is the story engine on this side of the map. Boobie owns the studio, Dre’Quan runs the label, Real Dimez are the act. Somebody in that chain is going to want more than their share.

Real Dimez - The Act

Real Dimez are Bae-Luxe and Roxy, “friends since high school” with “the savvy to turn their time shaking down local dealers into cold, hard cash via spicy rap tracks and a relentless social media presence.” Rockstar’s lines for them: “Viral videos. Viral hooks.” and “One hit away from fame.”

What the bio pins down:

• An early hit with local rapper DWNPLY “took Real Dimez to new heights”
• Five years and a whole lot of trouble later, they’re signed to Only Raw Records
• Lightning twice: the bio says they’re “hoping lightning can strike twice”
• The social angle: Rockstar built its social-media satire into two characters who live by it

This is where the GTA 6 social media world stops being background. Two of the named cast are influencers by trade.

The Professional

Raul Bautista - The Bank Robber

Raul Bautista is “a seasoned bank robber always on the hunt for talent ready to take the risks that bring the biggest rewards.” Lines: “Experience counts.” and “A professional adapts.” The warning is in the last sentence of his bio: “Raul’s recklessness raises the stakes with every score. Sooner or later, his crew will have to double down or pull their chips from the table.”

What that means for Jason and Lucia:

• He recruits: “on the hunt for talent” is Rockstar telling you how the pair meet him
• He escalates: the reckless line is a character flaw written as a plot promise
• Bank jobs: Trailer 2 shows Jason and Lucia robbing Sinfrontera National Bank, masked and armed. Raul is the only named character whose trade is banks
• No home region named: Rockstar doesn’t say where Raul operates, so don’t let anyone tell you

What This Means for the Story

Three Worlds, One Conspiracy

Rockstar’s synopsis says an easy score goes wrong and the pair land “in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state.” Look at the cast and the shape is there. Brian and Cal are the Keys and the smuggling. Boobie, Dre’Quan and Real Dimez are Vice City and the money that wants to look clean. Raul is the professional who crosses between them. The lead pair start at the bottom of the first world and, if every GTA before this is a guide, end up owing something to all three.

Who’s Missing

Rockstar has named no antagonist, no cop, no politician and no cartel. The eight character pages are the whole published cast. Anything beyond that - the crooked sheriff, the Vice City mayor - is fan fiction until Rockstar says otherwise, and I’d rather be right than early. The characters hub tracks who’s confirmed.

The Bottom Line: Supporting Cast Done Right

Six bios, each one with a job, a flaw and a line you’ll be quoting. Rockstar didn’t populate Leonida with types. It wrote a smuggler with a third wife and a sangria habit, a paranoid who listens to the Coast Guard for fun, a strip-club owner who wants a hit record, and a bank robber who can’t stop pushing.

That’s a story cast, and every one of them is standing somewhere between Jason, Lucia and the way out.
